Mine certainly is. When I got her, I put her in a typical glass tank...and had to work constantly to keep temps and humidity from fluctuating too widely....and no matter how hard I worked, she went on a 2 month fast. That fast didn't end until I gave up and moved her into a plain old sterelite box with newspaper substrate. Now she eats like a champ and seems much more relaxed overall.

Really, the glass enclosures are all about what the keeper wants. Not to say I'm against them...if you don't mind the extra effort and if your snake is eating/shedding/sleeping/pooping like it should...then more power to ya! But really, the snake could care less how "pretty" its home is.

    Here's my humble setup......two AP Iris900 racks, one AP 2221 , and one V2R hand-me-down with six 15qt tubs:

you also mentioned you wanted to see the insides...not much to look at:

but they are functional and the snake seem to feel comfortable.

Good luck setting up your enclosure!

haha thanks, yeah I look at it as a nice head start to a broader, bigger, ball python dream. I see a lot of cool stuff in those racks in 10 years.

Imagine your collection in 10 years Vaughn!
