Just this morning, my husband was peeking at Kisasa and I said, "She's such a sweet snake, isn't she?" And of course, he looks at me like I'm nuts. And then he gets "that look" in his eyes and he says, "I thought you didn't believe in anthropomophizing snakes?" Men!! :P

Not all of us. ;)

The questions were just that, questions to see if I was doing something wrong. If my snakes would be THAT much better is a tub then I would be the first one to move them over. They seem content where they are and since I haven't received any definitive arguments to sway me I will stay where I am for now. Should I get another snake I will have to seriously consider the sterlite solution.

I have kept an open mind about this as you can see if you read all my questions. They were meant as just that, questions.

From reading your writings and your enthusiasm I can tell that you would give your snakes a good quality of life too. I am sure you don't treat them at toys, but tell me you don't know of someone who has gotten a snake then saw the owner treat it as a toy.

I apologize if I came off as accusing and I also apologize for the tone I brought. My assumption was incorrect.

I heartily accept your most gracious apology.

Thank you.
I guess I read some things wrong. I'm glad you're shopping around. That's the best way to do it. (Exams and essays due are coming up. I'm on the fritz!)
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

That to me says you don't think tubs satisfy their "quality of life". You don't have to convince me you take good care of your snakes. If your setup works for you thats fine with me, but don't tell me that they need cages like that to have "the best life I can give them". It is not our job to convince you of anything, we are here to help if you have questions. But please don't insinuate that tubs are less appropriate. "Good Day"

I have no problems with sheds at all. They come off in one piece including eye caps.
How exactly do you plan on using a sling psychrometer inside a cage?

Is that anything like a Flux Capacitor? Can it provide 1.21 Gigawatts of electricity?

Sort of.
The reason I asked is that the sling psychrometer uses a wet bulb to measure relative humidity and requires that it be spun around in the air to do so.
See this link: http://www.usatoday.com/weather/wsling.htm
I have to say I believe this would certainly jeopardize the health and well being of anything residing in the cage. Unless of course the cage is walk-in sized.
