Re: Aurora platinum titanium reticulated python progression.
Offered Aurora a quail for the first time. Was cool to see her deal with something new and unknown to her. Her first reaction was to look at it to see if it was a threat. Then she went back in her swimming area. I moved it to her swimming area with he and bam she hit it hard. Guessing was a defensive response but hung on to see if she could eat it. Then she was like, "Eating under water" was not for her so she pulled it out of the water and into her hide. This was a test in how to get it out as well because part of the bird hung on the water bowl. She solved that problem by gently lifting it up after pulling strait out did not work. Once in her hide where she felt safe then she began to investigate how to deal with feathers. Which end to eat? Then she sat there satisfied for a moment after getting it down and then she went for a bath. I find it interesting all the ways she processed and implemented problem solving skills to get the task done and even hygiene was part of the entire ordeal. Very cool to watch.

She is great! Calm and easy going. Moves around some when out. Eating weekly. She looks for food every time you walk by. LOL. Is easy to take out of her enclosure. Doing great!
