There is always a chance. She was basically afraid of snakes, but I was able to get her to accept a snake in the house because of the enclosure as opposed to a dog roaming the house. I slowly introduced her to the king and she ended up realizing it wasn't a fear, just a misunderstanding and lack of knowledge about snakes. She had never been around snakes and had never touched one. So once she did she was like "it's not slimy!!!" hahhahaha!!! She then started to hold him a for a few seconds at a time. Now she begs me to take him out so she can hold him! She's still not ready to reach into his enclosure to grab him, but once he's out she loves him. I have since added the BP and two corns. She likes the slender bodies and smaller heads of the colubrids, but the BP has definitely grown on her.
