Rosey relaxing in front of her open door. Caesar, Vicky and Rosey all love it when i leave a door open for them to just hang out in front of. I've been doing it for Gina and Rango but they are pretty young and i dont think they quite understand it yet lol. They just look at it and then lay back down in their hide doorway lol. Hard to believe an almost 7' boa can fit in that little hide haha.

Was walking by tonight and decided to see what everyone was up to. Caesar was sleeping in a goofy pose and Vicky was curled up being antisocial. I think she is going into shed as she looks kind of hazy and dull plus like i said, she is being antisocial and not her usual inquisitive self.

Not sure if I've ever asked you this, but why do you sometimes keep paper towels in top of your snakes hides?

I was doing that to bump humidity as i was worried about misting aspen but everyone i talked to said misting aspen in fine, it wont mold from light misting here and there. You have to literally soak it and leave it soaking wet. Since then, i quit using the damp paper towels on the hides and just mist their aspen once a week or so to keep humidity 70-80%.

Ahhh gotcha. I had a feeling that was the reason but was just curious.

Well, Rosey shed last night and now she is exploring her new cage.
