So, are my requirements too hard/high?

So randomly reading forum threads and came upon this one. I have to agree with a lot of points made already here. Mostly about compromise and respecting each others' hobbies.

I personally would like to find someone that shares some of my hobbies as well. It's nice to have things in common to talk about. Of course, I am willing to compromise, for sure. I'd take someone that's sane, funny, honest, respectful over someone that merely shares my hobby, but is a complete dolt.

I have to point this out to OP out there. There *are* girls out there that do have those hobbies! I'm one myself ;) I love reptiles (I've got .. uh.. 17 snakes now..) I play games, mostly online MMOs (Currently FFXIV), and I work nights.. to boot! Haha

I don't think your requirements are too high at all! Yeah, there are more important things, (That SHOULD be there, too) like compatibility/compatible world views, etc...But when it comes right down to it, why would you want to be with someone you had no main hobbies/interests/passions in common with? I know many people make it work- and are extremely happy! (pleasedon'tgetmadatmepeople) but it's just not what I'm looking for, and I get the feeling it's not what you're looking for, either. I don't want a marriage like my parents. They love each other, but they have so little interests in common it's laughable. I was with someone I had no interests in common with. (granted, other reasons it was bad, too) I nearly married him. I would be miserable today if I had. If that's what you want in someone- DON'T SETTLE. You'll never find a *perfect* girl, but keep looking, and you'll find someone who's perfect for you.

When she comes along she comes along. N yes, def dont settle.
As you know Im with Kat (Kat_Black181) now and she fell into my life.
I couldnt ask for a better woman.

Haha she can have as many T's as she wants.
I have enough on my plate right now with my dog, snakes, rats, growing collection of cresties, my tegu and the newest addition Im buying in the next few days.
*cough* black throat monitor *cough* (shhh she doesnt know this yet though lmao!)
