What is the big DEAL ABOUT USING GLASS TANKS?

I use AP T8's for Ball Pythons, I use a divider when they are young, then remove the divider when they are big enough.

Half of a T8 measures 24 inches x 24 inches x 12 inches (L x W x H) and a full T8 measures 4 feet x 2 feet x 1 foot (L x W x H)

but i'm only getting 1 python. lol I'll just go to walmart and get a plastic tub with a lock top and start from there.

I have a large exo terra and I cut aluminum pieces to cover some of the screen. Personally I like the the way it looks in my apartment, Max (bp) is in his hide during the day but at night he "hunts". I usually leave a f/t mouse on the side farthest from his hide,after a few minutes he gets the scent and comes out for it. As it gets closer in the week to feeding time he tends to hang out and wait for food to appear,lol. I have a few branches and rocks in the tank, he explores now and then and returns to his hiding spot when theres no food. He seems to "like" this setup. He will sit and watch us go about our business instead of hiding all night.


I also have two green snakes in a similar tank , they also seemed to come alive in that setup.


I am sure someone will disagree with my observations, but Max and myself this setup works.
