Poor Mona looked soooo skinny when I pulled her off the eggs, like a balloon that had deflated. She weighed over 3000g before ovulation, and post-lay her weight was just around 1900g. I fed her a couple of mice last night, and she took them without hesitation - so I have a feeling she'll be an eating machine for the next few months!
