Tech/Death/Black/Thrash/Gore metal/various other sub-genres. Classical, Classic Rock, Blues are also awesome.

i like everything..from classical to blues to "indie" to black metal.
i could say my favorites for sure areeee...
smashing pumpkins,pixies,nirvana,alice in chains,tool,marilyn manson,THE CURE,PINK FLOYD,albert king,jimi hendrix,bob marley,THE BEATLES,the doors,satyricon,gorgoroth,shining,gojira,buckethead,DEFTONES,INTERPOL.

but i can make this alot easier by stating what i despise new rap and country.neither genera evolved for the better,actually no genera has.everything new sucks.

Not true at all. Good music is just harder to find. Most good music is underground and/or on a local level. Not stuff you will hear on the radio. Look at my list of bands I posted. How many of them actually get radio play? Not many. I doubt you've even heard of most them, but I bet if you listened to them you'd have to admit that there is some serious talent out there if you know where to look.

Sad, isn't it? The media feeds us all this (c)rap, hip hop, bubblegum pop Justin Beiber bull and the countless modern rock bands who all sound the same. The majority of us are dumb enough to buy into it because its what is deemed "cool" to listen to. Gotta fit in, right?

I'm down with most music, I don't like country unless it has real funny lyrics and I don't like most rap unless it has true meaning and possibly a real band behind the MC and pop is just pure garbage imo. I'm big into metal and hardcore, techno, dub, classic rock, classical, blues, jug band, pretty much anything depending on what I'm doing and what mood I'm in. A few favorites are, Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, Megadeth, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Sublime, Incubus, Paul Oakenfold, Dirty Vegas, The Violent Femmes, SRV, Blind Blake, Van Halen, Beethoven and Johnny cash + hundreds of others I cant think of right now ha ha

Pretty much everything, mainly rock, rap, country but I do love to find new music. I can't stand people who won't try exploring new genre's.

Alesana, nin, botdf(probly get bashed about tht) jeffree star(same bout botdf) mainly any rock, indie, electro, i also like skrillex, and moreeeeeee.
