    All my life! I've had people even call me a demon for my beliefs and fondness for animals like snakes and cats.
    By the way, a lot of that religious snake handler group is from Sand Mountain, which is about 40 miles from where I live.

    I've never been called a devil worshiper to my face, but it's been implied by people who were 'only joking' (you know, the kind of 'joking' that makes you think they might really think this but don't want to come right out and say it ?)

    Actually, when I read Genesis chap 3 I feel bad for the snake. First, it gets possessed by the Devil. Then it gets cursed by God. Can you imagine how traumatized that poor serpent would be?

    I've never gotten devil worshiper, but I did get called the spawn of satan once. Still laughing about that one!
