    happy to hear she is still hanging on i read another forum someone saying chicken egg yolk by syringe if they dont absorb their yolk but would it maybe help her idk just a though

    If you get a chance, could you post a pic of her w/ her clutch mates? I'd like to see the size difference.

    She is now close to being a normal hatchling... but still very small. she refused a hopper mouse left in overnight two times, so I killed the hopper and put it in her mouth. The second I put it in her mouth she started swallowing..... so she is hungry, she just hasn't figured out the whole strike / constrict thing.

    This is a picture of her cinny sister. you can see the obvious size difference. It is not so obvious in the picture but Cherio is a totally different color then her sister... The yellows are much whiter, and the black is like more of a blushing color. Don't know if that is due to the rough start, or something genetic.... but she is definately different.

    I am rooting for this baby as if she were my own. I forever check the board for updates on her.

    I hope she gets stronger and figures out how to eat like a good baby.

    I have always heard if they loose their yolk like that to use an eye dropper and give them chicken or even better duck egg yolk. For instant protein.
