Did you have a pet snake as a kid?

i got my first snake when i was about 9 or so....it was a baby garter snake. then moved on to rat snakes, kings, then boas and balls. took a break when i was in the military. a couple of years after i got out i got back into them again, but strictly pythons.

when i was about 10-11yrs old i had about 15-16 snakes in my room and was already breeding mice....in my room as well.

i'm 31 now, my mom came over last year for vacation to visit us....i asked her why did she let me keep all those snakes in my room...her response was becuase i knew you liked them....after all these years it was nice to know why she let me keep them.
