I just had a 'vetern' snake keeper whos had '25 snakes at once' tell me 180 g Mr. Hisster will be fine on one rat pinkie every two weeks.

Currently I'm giving him two every week. I paid for fuzzies that have zero fuzz on them and look suspiciously like pinkies, wasn't impressed.

On a brighter note though, I'm winning!

Has anyone else noticed an increase in "1 Post Wonders" lately? Seems like recently we're getting a lot of first posts that go along the lines of, "My BP Won't Eat", "Rescue Won't Poop" or "Do These Alien Heads Look Alien To You."

Then, after a page or two of good advice, I realize that the OP's post count is still at 1, and we never see or hear from them again.

Is this a new type of trolling I'm not aware of?

I'm guessing just people that wanted to know one thing then just leave after they get a answer. But I could be wrong, it could be a advanced trolling method we are not aware of.

I get tired of the people who A) don't read the posts, B) can't be bothered to do a tiny amount of research before posting a question.

I'm relatively new here, but I don't know how many very general poop/eating/tub/tank/UTH/thermometer/substrate etc. threads I've seen that 99% of the time, the question is answered in the Care Sheet.

I know traffic is a good thing, but I'm getting a bit tired of the repetitive traffic. I've only had my BP since December but some of these people make me feel brilliant.

I know what you mean, it does get kinda old answering the same question over and over and over. Although I had never been on a forum in my life until I joined here, and I had lots to learn about how it all works.

What annoys me, is when trying to help somebody turns into beating a dead horse. Why come on here for answers if you aren't going to fix your problem. Because you don't like the answers you got, or what?

Unfortunately, that is the exact reason why. I've seen a few like this, they want people to say what they are doing is excellent and they are taking great care of their animals. When they get the exact opposite, they get hurt, then defensive. People on the forum usually go on the offensive then because this person isn't listening to the advice. We then usually get the "well you don't know my snake like I do and he actually enjoys living with rats cause then he can eat whenever he's hungry", the person leaves, and the poor animal suffers.

With all the advancements we have made as a society, you would think fixing stupid should be on the top of the "to-do" list...
