No skill? Are you serious? He has plenty of skills and he is strong as can be, he just showboats too much. Not trying to be mean or anything, but I don't even think you would last 30secs in a UFC fight. I train MMA which takes tons of condition, and learning how to properly carry your weight for rounds. Not to mention slinging the 4oz gloves. Not that they are heavy but after awhile they can be, and 4oz gloves cover your knuckles only. Lower weight classes in boxing use 8 oz, and heavy weight use 16 oz. Now i'm not trying to seem like a jerk or anything, but before you say somebody has no skill because you may not like them or you don't believe they do, please don't put your 2¢ in. Not to mention he was the NCAA Wrestling Champion, which obviously takes no skill right?

thats just it tho. its my 2¢ LOL. dont get butthurt

im sayn he doesnt have skill bc his gameplan for every fight is put all like 5 tons of his body on someone, then ground and pound when he gets a chance.. thats BORING, and SHOWS no skill.

i dont think he showboats, actually after his first few fights, he seemed like he was REALLY humble. but after a fight where his opponent is talking crap, he had a right to rub it in his face ;)

nowhere did i say i could win a fight against brock lesnar LOL. i dont think the average human being, or even an above average human being would be able to last 30 seconds in a UFC with ANY fighter LOL. i would probably get my arm broken or my ankle dislocated, or just put to sleep haha

IMO, (and brock lesnars), i think he got to the top too fast (based MAINLY on his size), and he isnt a deserving champ. he said it himself in an interview b4 his fight against coutoure (dk how to spell it)

if i see him go in there, and STAND UP and not push someone against a cage during the first round, or if i see him NOT laying on a dude for an entire round, then i would be a little more impressed.

please dont get butthurt, bc it is as u say, just my 2¢ :D. we are all entitled to it.

You must not watch a lot of ufc though. He weighs in at 265, and hes 6'3.

To make a point i'll show you other heavyweight fighters, so how are you judging his size, he looks bigger then the others yes, but as far as weight goes, no:

    Carwin Shane 11-0-0 6' 3" (191 cm) 262 (119 kg
    Gonzaga Gabriel 11-4-0 6' 1" (185 cm) 242 (110 kg)
    Hague Tim 10-2-0 6' 4" (193 cm) 265 (120 kg)
    Herring Heath 28-14-0 6' 4" (193 cm) 250 (113 kg)
    Kongo Cheick 24-5-1 6' 4" (193 cm) 240 (109 kg)
    Lesnar Brock 4-1-0 6' 3" (191 cm) 265 (120 kg)
    Mir Frank 12-4-0 6' 3" (191 cm) 240 (109 kg)

Yes on some fighters he has a weight advantage on but it also takes more training to carry that extra weight. I can tell you from experience as like I stated above that I fight MMA. Yes on some fights he will take them to the ground and resort to ground and pound, but you must of not watched the Frank Mir #2 fight. He tried to keep the fight standing up because of Frank Mir's ability to submission. Every fighter has different ways they prefer to fight.

For instance, i'm 6'1 180. In MMA when we do cage fights I fight in the Middleweight class. I'm taller, but some of the other fighters have a few lbs on me. With me being as quick as I am and having a good trainer, I can do standing up or I can go on the ground. I prefer to stand up though because it's my style of fighting.

so he looks bigger, and as far as weight goes, he IS bigger? lol.

ya, i understand the advantages of reach and weight (in terms of muscle / fat ratio) and we SAW that fight lol. i agree everyone has their own style, but IMO, his strat shows no skill.

sorry to the OP for kind hijacking this thread
