I'm sure you'll do the right thing. We all screw up - but it's how you handle your screw ups that will shine through.

If you recognize the fact that you screwed up and are genuine about fixing your mistakes, then kudos to you sir :gj:

Agreed. I wasn't meaning to be harsh about dodginess...just a pet peeve of mine. If someone asks a question, answer it. He did, and I agree, he has been taking this very well. In the long run I don't think this is going to affect his reputation too much, provided he shows his worth once he actually gets the ball rolling. Good luck to you.

This is an excellent post, Nate. I think we all realize this kid made a lot of mistakes in setting up that site. If I recall, it was about the age of 15/16 when the idea of copyright and quoting your sources was REALLY emphasized in school (for me). If I had the motivation to do something like this at his age, I probably would have made similar mistakes too.

I agree he messed up big time, but has done a good job in keeping his cool under the storm of comments that have poured down on him. There are a lot worse things a 16 year old could be doing, and I think it's a good thing we have a young generation that is enthusiastic about this hobby. If he is sincere about correcting his mistakes, then I, like Nate, give him kudos.

Great! Now we can all watch for updates on how your snakes are doing. Maybe one day we'll all be looking back and going 'Hey remember when he posted all those pics of other people's animals? And look at him now with all the newest morphs!'
Good luck, and nice website layout BTW.

In an effort to get this thread back ON topic :D

I offered him some photos for use on his website. As long as he credits the source, he has my permission to use the ones I sent him. I figure a helping hand UP is better than being pushed down :)
