LOL.
That's a good one.
Too bad it doesn't get far hot enough to support the life cycle of a reptile that large.
OH WELL.

That video was later determined fake. The retic was found to really be less than 30 feet long. In videos you can make it look longer than it actually is through angling and even lighting.
The largest snake on record to be captured was about 32ft and was a reticulated python.
A 50ft animal could not survive conditions in the world today. The larger the reptile the much hotter the climate needs to be. (No one say GLOBAL WARMING cause it's not nearly significant enough to make a 20ft difference here.)

They recently found fossils of what they are calling "Titan Boa" which was a boa that pushed 60ft back during the mega fauna era however many thousands of years ago. The world was 6 degrees celsius hotter then and that is what it takes to support an animal that big. Climate change is actually cooling the planet is some areas too...

the first picture was probably a small boat going down the river

Still a darn big snake, but come on, half the length they claimed it to be?
And, Animal Planet is STILL airing it as if its real. The snake keepers were asked why it was no longer as big as they said, their answer "I have no idea why the snake has shrunk." Big pet peeve with Animal Planet. If you are an informational network, maybe portray your information accurately.
