How do you feed?

I am happy to say I now feel F/T...5 F/T rats down for each BP and hoping I've converted them all over...For me it doesn't matter how, as long as they eat...But for economics and convenience I'm glad they made the conversion over...

My snakes will eat either but I usually feed live.

I knock out any rodents the size of adult mice or larger, does that count as pre-killed?

If they are dead and were alive right before fed, I would consider that p/k.

i feed mine f/t, i was trying to breed my own feeders, but my hubby didnt like the smell. :D but its also cheaper for me to do it this way, since i dont have a lot of room (we have two kids and a dog as well). but i thaw them in warm water, replacing it when it gets cold. now because some of them get wet, and also because they cool down relatively quickly on the trip upstairs, i have a blow dryer in their room. i will put the bowl under a ledge, point the dryer over the bowl and set it on low. it dries out any water, it helps circulate the smell, and i think it also helps my snakes find it. i was having a problem with a few of my snakes taking f/t, but after i started using the blow dryer, they went at it every time, and ate it too. (before, they would constrict but just let go and give up.) so after they're warmed, i do the typical zombie dance, and BOOM. :D it works for me.

I feed my soon to be 5 month old BP boy F/T adult mouse every 5 days. He is a very good eater :D:snake:

i try to feed in all 3 ooptions lol, I order and try ot keep ft on hand and use them, but that don't work out well with some of my guys seeming to prefer either live or pk. but with my rat colony going nuts ( i started wit hover 47 pinkie 3 weeks ago ,and it beenreduced to about 20 between the offering the smallest to the corns and the recycling he adult rats have done. but the worst part isthat I got rat showing signs of being prego again and ready to drop withing 2 weeks.
My asf on the other hand seem to be killing offtheir young befoer they old enough to be removed. so those tanks are actually going down hill.
