    Very interesting.

And have any of the normal looking (i.e. non switchers) ever proven to be hets as well?

No i merly wanted to see this snake this friend "supposably" had that had no ties to MKR.I asked several times for a simple pic of this new morph and each time a link to a old pic or info from MKR was given. So in my eyes something was fishy. Now we know why no one else chimed in before Steve did because these snakes reak of MKR.Now just so you(bloodsong) dont get your underwear in a bind over what i just wrote.I am not slamming the OP here by no means.

This is in response to bloodsong saying i called the OP a lier.If i really wanted to reveal someone was lieing i would have posted a few red flags i saw while reading the OP ad or the thread here.If they got these snakes from a breeder they would know what they were worth. The ad shows a 100% het for albino girl with a 100% het for yellow blush albino boy.Now they never said these would produce the yellow blush albino but wouldnt you think someone would have a pair capable of making this morph. So i see no reason for me to apologize for anything other then admitting i was wrong about this yellow blush albino existing,of which i allready did ;).

    Not that I know of.
There was an instance where 2 100% hets were bred resulting in 5 eggs. 2 out of the 5 were odd colored hatchlings. Both were held back and proved to be 100% hets.
It was interesting because instead of guessing which were hets and which weren't you could visually tell.

Yeah, Albey's clutches (which a couple of us linked to in this thread) were like that. He bred a couple hets and got the faded, the switchers and normals. IIRC he got them from BHB. Wonder if the hets he had were switchers to begin with??

Yes I can see a marked advantage in that. Course that raises the issue of people coming against resistance if they try to sell their "switchers", after they have changed colour, as 100% if it was a het x het breeding that produced them...

so albey's faded snake could also be known as a yellow blush, is that right? my yellow blush het it darker then my normal ball. he's darker. i think as someone put it more wild looking. i never claimed these snakes were from the frauds. i just used their photo's. i guess because they were the first one that captured the snake photo then a lot of people think the snake is a fake as well. and to think all i wanted was some prices on theses guys and i got all of this stuff. well either way i have people interested in both sets of snakes. so thanks to those who helped out.

It would seem, from this thread and Albey's original thread, that faded and blush are just two names for the same thing. I do not think either is necessarily more right or wrong to use but maybe, because of the "bad" affiliation of 'blush' with MKR, it might be more prudent for people to use the 'faded' epithet... So as to avoid future situations like what happened here... Just MHO anyways

I have a photo of one of my Albinos that has the "blush". I consider her a normal albino...

But photobucket is not cooperating... RAWR

so based upon weight what's the average going price.

397 grams is pretty small for an 07. My late '07 pastel is right around 1000 grams.
The male seems like a picky feeder to me. That would effect his price.
