Police here have no lives..

I have done some more quick research on the quotas. It appears some departments may have had and currently do have a quota system but it looks like most of them are worded to reflect productivity.

Just do a google search and you will find the same mixed answers as you do on this forum.

But really, What Chris said is true, all of this coming on the tail end of Chris being told by a police officer late last night that since he let the girl from next door use his phone to call the police, he was "aiding and abetting", because now the Boyfriend is charging the girl with domestic abuse. :rolleyes:

Some cities have curfews for children under 18 that has nothing to do with driving. Whats the big deal? The kid should have been home studying for school, not out riding around with his friend.

Why does race at all come into any of this? The kid was under the age for curfew. He got busted. He got hauled off in the back of the police car and probably was taken home to his parents and not booked and thrown in jail for the night! (like many here assume I'm sure)


Jeez, people. The majority of Cops aren't the bigoted racist ass wipes people all think they are! Give the cops a break and worry what it will be like in your future and your children's future when the public funds are and manpower is cut and the cops have to work 12 hours a day, with a 1/3 of the force they had!

the same happens here with me. seeing that 90-95%(MAYBE 100%) of the people in my neighborhood are latino/hispanic, it happens quite ofte to be pulled over by a white cop. especially if you're a "cool kid" with a "cool car", you're pulled over cuz you like to "rev up" your car and make all kinds of ANNOYING noise with the engine or going over the speed limit. or you dress/look like a gang member or look drunk, you'll definitely get pulled over.

one time my friends(all mexican) and i got to my house at like around almost midnight and parked near my house and a white cop stopped us and asked what we were doing and we told him we just got something to eat and now we're home. then my 18 yr old friend got into his truck ready to go home and the cop stopped him and asked for his license, which he DID have. he checked it, then let him go. then he told us to go home cuz he wouldnt want us to get caught in a drive-by shooting or something.

Curfew for anyone under 17 is 11:30 P.M. Driver was let go, so he is obviously over 17. Passenger was under 17, so obviously he was violating curfew.

THE DRIVER WAS LET GO! THE PASSENGER WAS NOT!

And even IF the driver had any warrants or anything, they would have taken the passenger in too because he was violating curfew.

LMAO this is a load of BS. I've grown yup with cops in the family, family friends, co-workers, etc. I can tell that "quota" is just a rumor and is not true at all.

Like said above, don't break the law and the law won't be after you or whoever else. :salute:

One kid! Read.

No they were not the only car on the road. About 20-30 cars passed by during the entire 40 minute pull over. I live right off a big street. Most of them slamming their breaks because they saw red and blue lights and knew it was the police.

While searching the car, how come they NEVER asked the driver to step out? What do you suggest this 'probable cause' was then?
