well i guess i could start with my first job when i was 14 i worked at a bakery had the same job until 1994 then a went to my next job which was also a bakery that's where a got my bakers science degree. then in 1996 i went to another job and started my paintball business and i did both until 9-11 then the paintball business was sold and in 2004 i quit my job and stayed home for two years. until the wife wanted a new house then i got a new job as a production worker that only lasted three days then they promoted me to a production manager and that's what I'm doing now. when i started we had 50 people on the line now i have 20 people and still getting the same work done.

well if you ever have questions about the work or the industry or career paths, I'd be happy to talk shop with you.
ME is a big field with tons of possibilities. I have had the good fortune to have worked in a lot of different jobs.
The big 'engineering shortage' is coming, so stick with it and you should be able to write your own ticket in 10 years or so!

it's 6 months of "railroad school" provided by the company, i'm a 4th generation railroader been doing it for just over 5 years, my father is an engineer for CPR, he's got 2 years till he retires :) my family has been railroading for over 120 years in canada, basically you need a high school diploma ,college preffered ,then you apply and join the 1000's of other hopefuls waiting for a callback
