Why would I? Tom couldn't play if his life depended on it, and I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face if I were to play those tunes in public. Hell, I'd be ashamed to play them by myself.

I think you need to look up the definition of innovative.

All this coming from a guy who was sad when Faith No More broke up.. lol.

You know, you can still listen to Hanson. :D

    Aren't forums awesome? :D

However, FNM sounded like FNM. Pretty much no two FNM tunes really sounded alike. Plus I also said I never was a huge fan of them, but they came into my life at a time when I was getting back into music. I was just bummed when I heard they finally broke up.

I'm just yanking your chain on the FNM. They weren't too bad. But, I don't think you give Tom Morello the credit he deserves. Just because what he does is "easy", it's still different. Not a lot of people play the guitar the way he does, which is what makes him great.

Now don't get me wrong, he's not the greatest guitarist ever. My vote would be SRV or Clapton. I wouldn't even fit hendrix into the greatest ever section of my music collection. That's not what we're here to discuss, but thought I'd mention it.

It's cool though. I just hear so many people say how amazing Tom is. When Munky from Korn came in, here raved about Tom and I had to turn around 'cause I was about to laugh.

I'll have to check out some anorexia. I've been listening to Bathory's "Blood, Fire, Death" album A LOT! Also, Carcass' "Necroticism" has been on replay quite a bit again lately.

That's too funny... and true. I used to have a website that would have a Rap Quote of the Week. Every week it was 4 lines of trash like this. It's hilarious in a pathetic and delinquent way.

If you're gonna talk great guitarists I'm surprised Satriani and Yngwie weren't on there.

Another vote for Sublime, I forgot to include them as it wasn't really breaking up.. it was Bradley dying. LBDA isn't nearly the same.
