That is a male. No doubt about it. Scent glands do not get that red unless you are making it bleed (god forbid), and usually don't extend that far out.

Don't waste your money - that is without doubt a pene - scent glands are white - not pink - it is tiny because it's not fully extended (popped) - don't give him a complex - he'll make you lots of nice babies. :salute:

Can popping hurt the snake? After watching the vid, I want to try, but I don't want to try it if I could hurt one of my babies. Also, it doesn't show anything with a girl, but I'm assuming nothing would come out, but assuming isn't always a good idea, so can anyone tell me, am I right?

finally called the reptile shop. They said that they had 4 pastels in.. some boys, some girls. they were all priced at $200.... But she understood why I was not happy, and agreed to a very fair compromise.
I will buy everything I can from this shop in particular in the future. It is so rare, and so nice to be treated well by a retailer.
PS... I think his pene is starting to grow!
