Re: What famous people are you related to?
I have a couple:
Mom's side:
Mr. Hyden(Forgot the first name) - He started Old Grandad Whiskey
Shannon Miller - Olympic Gold Gymnastic Medalist in 1996 (Also related to Mr. Hyden)
Dad's side:
Jordin Sparks - American Idol winner Season 6
I guess her dad (By marrage) who played for the Dallas Cowboys at some point.

Was horse thievery really that common? My grandma told me we were decendants of some famous viking. I'll have to call my mom and see if she knows what's up with that. Other than that, mostly farmers.

My great-grandfather was Christopher Columbus Smith - the founder of Chris Craft. My grandfather sold ChrisCraft Corporation to the Japanese when it was obvious that my father had no intention of running the company. (I didn't get a dime! -- and the money is all gone now.)
On my mother's side we came on a boat that founded the city of Princess Anne on the DelMarVa peninsula in 1729.

Re: What famous people are you related to?
supposedly the Arquettes (family of actors)
but I have no connections to them
I come from a long line of inventors, but none of them household names.
I'm friendly with Wendy Carlos, but not related.
