My box is now just a DVD player. I got tired of spending 50 bucks on a game that my box would refuse to play after a few weeks.

Well. I broke down and bought COD World at War. And during the very first match on Live my box froze, after restarting I got the red ring of death AGAIN.
This is the third damn time.

I got the ring of death on Friday afternoon... After some research I decided to FIX IT MYSELF AND SCREW MICROSOFT!
It is now Monday, and MY XBOX WORKS!~!!!!! :banana::banana::banana:
