I have also noticed you are into guns also and have some nice stuff, I will have to post a few of my guns.

Neato! I can't wait to get some funds to put into my Jeep. The main thing I want is a bigger front bumper with a winch. I cringe to think what horrors would happen if I hit a deer with this weird little stock bumper.. but ah, the almighty dollar is a rare creature in this house at this time of year. Mine is stock mainly, but someone added a 2-inch lift before we bought it that was not even on the sale papers; my husband noticed it after I remarked that I was taller than another Jeep that I saw somewhere. The tires are bigger too.
Yours looks to have half-doors? Awesome!

I always love seeing your Jeep FMama! How many inches of lift is that? Winchees are always great because who ever knows when you'll need one..?I can't do that much crazy stuff with mine, as it is a daily driver for me. But my hubby is working on a trade, trading our older snowmobile for an '81 Jeep CJ-7. He wants to restore it.. but he might pass up and just get a frame for cheap, and gradually buy parts Jeeps and get a new tub. All of the ones we find are either overpriced, have cracked/bent frames, or body is shot.
I do like the Wranglers for a few reasons. 6-point roll cage.. a lot "comfy-er" and more up-to-date interiors. But CJs have awesome higher seating. I want to raise my seats first-off in my Wrangler. I am short!
We are thinking of going to our area's Jeep Jamboree this year. It seems like a way-fun thing to do. Non Jeep people don't seem to understand the Jeep mania that we have.. I geuss it is like anything else though.

I have only 3 inches of lift (enough for 33" tires).
If I go bigger I'll go straight to a long-arm configuration, but it's not a big priority. 33"s and lockers will get you pretty much everywhere. Jeeps can get pretty unstable at high lift heights. Even for 3" I needed to set my wheels out wider to give it the ride stability of a stock rig. Plus big meats put a ton of strain on your driveline and differentials. Lots of money in upgrades to make up for all that - I'm still working through all those before I'll lift it any more.

if you look closely in the pic my tie rod is bent .... right after that pic was taken I was on my back in the mud replacing it (I carry a spare of that and many other things) :gj:

Ouch! I don't want to go overboard lifting, as you said. the 2 inches on mine are fine for my uses.

My first ride was a 2000 Subaru Forester. Now I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I like it much more than the forester.

Ok sorry for the bad photo, but I had to take a photo of the picture we had framed since this baby is in the garage for the winter. But this is the hot rod. A 71 Chevy Chevelle SS 454 named Woodstock. :) It's the old man's other woman. ;)
