    I was in the check out line at Target last week. Just wanted to get going and scoot. The guy behind me had gerbil / hamster supplies, which started a conversation between him and the cashier on rodent husbandry. The little clerk asked the guy what the best thing to do with a gerbil that bites. I took the opportunity to make the suggestion for the ultimate permanent cure. I told her to “put it in a paper bag, smack it against the wall, and feed it to a ball python.” It did speed up the rest of my check out.

    Not really - CH imports are about $8 each wholesale (maybe less). He might also breed them for feeders, much as we breed rats and mice for feeders.
