Thank you everyone ... you have no idea how much these posts have lifted our spirits over the past week. This place truely is the best community on the internet!

We're home from the hospital (again) and getting back to normal. Jason is doing very well and actually was cleared to go to school today for the first time this year. He was very excited about starting the first grade and seeing him smile the way he did this morning was amazing ... he's an incredible little boy.

I wrote up everything that went on over the last week and posted it up on my blog ... some of you guys have heard it and others have not ... I apologize for not doing so well at keeping in touch with both friends and customers ... it was a rough week. I don't know if anyone will care to read what I wrote, but it's there ... it's very personal and probably boring to most, but I needed to write.

I'm just getting started at responding to emails, pm's, txt messages, and returning phone calls ... there were a ton while I was away ... I will respond to every single one ... so if I owe you, hang in there, I'll make it right.

Thank you again guys .... from me, my family, and from my son Jason ... we are all greatful to have the support of so many people ... you guys rock!

Adam, what can I say. Sitting here having read your blog, knowing you as the parent you are and having a child so close in age with your Jay....well my friend, the tears came easy. Took me back to our Bethie and the MRI's and the fear of more convulsions, the praying for the tests to come out okay, the rethinking every moment of the child's life trying to find a reason this is happening. It turned out okay for my girl and it'll turn out okay for your boy. With so much love and prayers surrounding that precious child, with the good care of his parents and the watchful eyes of his doctors, he'll come through this Adam and so will you.

I hope Jay enjoyed his first day of big boy school (I know Mikey is now terribly disdainful of the "kindergarten babies" himself). Give that wonderful kiddo of yours a big, big hug from the Franchino's please and one for yourself too. He's a strong boy that takes after his dad...nothing will hold that young man down for long!

Adam, while I dont know what is going on yet I want you to know that I and others are praying for you and to never loose sight of God in this time of hardship in your life. It is amazing what the power of prayer can do.
    Take care,
    Derek
