I'm not going to lie and say that it wasn't sent to me by a friend. I posted because of the opinions /advice that was given was totally incorrect for the Retic species not as a defense to anyone or anything "ironic". :rolleyes:

No need to get all pissy- but is it NOT ironic that three differnt people joined and posted aroundthe smae time? Nothing wrong with it, I just stated that I thought it was ironic. Not a big deal.

And feeding a larger prey item for some species CAN be harmful- not for a retic, perhaps, but imgine trying to feed a little corn a rat :O That would be bad...

And just out of curiousity- where do you put FOUR retics?? I dont even know where I would have one!! Did you custon build the enclousers? Just wondering because I just adore retics, and would love to have one- someday- only I think Id have trouble housing one!! lol. But thats awsome- if I could do it, I would :gj:

My whole point to posting what that a persons opinion was stated based on another sepcies from different parts of the world /habitat. Not from actual true Retic husbandry.
Oh and I have bred Colubrids and have had ZERO problems with feeding them a large prey item. Never had a regurge or sick snake. I have also fed large prey items to ETB's that created a small lump in the belly with zero problems also.
