We have blessing of the bikes this Sunday in Baldwin, MI I've never gone before but the wife and I are planning on checking it out. Its less than an hour's ride for us. Supposed to be alot of fun, music, venders, and of course some words to keep in mind about the years riding. I can't wait...just wish I could find someone to ride up with!

That would be quite the swing all the way over to west coast haha...

The blessing was awesome. All the coolness of a biker rally without all the drunken mayhem. There where thousands and thousands of bikes covering the airfield. My legs are sore today from walking the rows and we only covered maybe half of them. Got some nice compliments on my bike and talked to some pretty cool people. I was 1 of only 2 marauder's that I actually saw but like I said we didn't cover them all. I didn't take pics the first time we walked through thinking we would walk it again to see what we missed but the number of rows kept on growing. So I didn't end up taking to many individual photos and people started leaving alot sooner that I thought...oh well still had a blast!

That looks like it was a lot of fun with a lot of bikes there.

I'll be going on a big ride on the 2nd of June. It's the 13th Annual Sierra Hope Run. They're expecting like 3,000 bikes to show up. I'm thinking it'll be about half of that. It's gonna be about a 50 mile ride that will be "Police Assisted" which means no stop signs or stop lights to break up the group and we'll be just rolling through like a parade.

I'll try to take some pics before and after the ride.

Well the Big ride is tomorrow. We rode down today to register. Now I heard they had like 5,000 bikes last year. We'll see about all that. I went ahead and popped off a couple pics of the festivities from today.

I'll just put up a link to the page with the pics and the (short but big) vid.

    Here ya go:

I'll try to take more tomorrow and put them up photobucket.

Oh and the guy that looks like he's doing a wheelie and falling off is not falling off. That was a pretty sweet "no hands" wheelie.

I'm down with people who do that sort of stuff....but anyway looks like some other cool stuff there. I rode most of the day with my cousins and uncle we had a blast. For once I wasn't the only non Harley, a second cousin has a new Vmax 1200. Its crazy with its carbon fiber parts but doesn't look as comfy to ride...and he showed it on our longer stints. It was fast as all get out though. I run the smallest of the group at 805cc. Going stage 2 has helped alot and I can keep up with them (all over 1000cc bikes) but I don't have nearly the torque they do. I think I am going to go down one tooth size for the front sprocket to see if I can regain some torque. The stock was 15T and makes the bike run with real high rpms.

Woohoo! another bike event this weekend starting tomorrow. The city I work in is starting an annual "Bike Time" event. I'm taking the day off tomorrow to check the vendors and what not. Then I'll be going back on Saturday with some cousins and my uncle all riding down. I have to wash/polish the bike so its all purty for the weekend.

Today was the first day of the Muskegon Bike Time event which runs today through Sunday in Muskegon, MI. Thought I would post up today's pics. It was pretty tame today being Friday with the big turn out being tomorrow. The street looks bare in my morning pics but by afternoon people where having to park on side streets the main drag was so packed. I was hoping for more vendors but there was less than I've seen at regular bike shows. Possibly again due to it being a weekday. I took some choice photos of the stunt riders and bikes that caught my eye. I saw 2 other Marauders one even with the same paint scheme as mine (blue with black). Tomorrow I'll be headed down again with some relatives and will probably have more pictures to take.
