    I've used aspen bark for quite a while. I don't like having to get them out from under newspaper or paper towels(been there, done that). I also don't want to spend my time pre-cutting or folding paper to fit(been there too). It's just easy to scoop out a little after messes or dump out the whole thing when its time. It holds the humidity good too. I get whole sheds almost every time. There are benefits to using paper too.....its cheap!

    I just finished my first rack and placed my three adult BPs in it...so I'm still seeing how things work. But currently I use newsprint with aspen under the hide. They seem to like it, and it keeps the humidity just about right...so far. :)

    I use a brown paper bag type stuff, its paper from walmart for painting, you put it along the walls to mask off where you dont want paint to get on :D

    and a little cypress on top :D
