Im going pretty crazy right about now, the first 50-55 days were perfectly fine and seemed to fly by but these last few days are a real killer. Its worth the wait though.:)
Re: What a nice suprise!!!
Day 64 and still nothing. one egg looks like there could no way be a snake in there, its very dented but its not turning bad so im keeping my fingers crossed, the other egg is nice and plump with the bottom side dented. A couple more "lines" have shown up, im debating weather or not to cut them?
Re: What a nice suprise!!!
I cut the good looking egg a couple days ago and it doesnt look good, there was a snake in there but it looked dead, the egg looked completely dry. Humidity was between 95-97% the entire time and just recently read HI% on the thermometer. Im keeping my fingers crossed hoping for a miracle.

Aric,
I hope all is ok. please keep us posted.
Re: What a nice surprise!!!
Not a nice surprise at all, the snake in the good egg is dead. The other egg had gone bad a few weeks ago. The good egg had some slits in it from I guess the snake but it never came out. The egg also looked completely dry. The temps while incubating were an almost constant 89.6 and only got down to 88.9, and the highest was only 90.7. Humidity was between 95-97% the whole time just until recently when the thermometer was reading HI%. So I dont know what went wrong. I just hope now my other female lays a good healthy clutch of eggs.:(

Sorry to hear buddy...Hope the next one comes out ok. I would get those temps down a little. A wise man once told me to keep it under 90 and keep the temp swings in check. What are you incubating in?

Im going to shoot for a solid 88.5 for the next time. Im incubating them in a fridge turned incubator.

That sounds like a plan. I brought it down even lower. I have been at around 87.8. Also keep in mind that most thermometers can have a +- of 3 degrees or more. That is why I have to trust my thermostat is getting it done.
