they cannot buy from our company as a direct result of this thread.

Exactly how do the mechanics of that work???

You are the only one who can prevent people from doing that. Please do not demonize our forum on the BOI because people had the unmitigated audacity to comment on vendor experiences - whether your company or any other company or product.

We ALWAYS welcome ANY comments or feedback our members have whether it relates to particular products or vendors - and we will continue to do so.

Ok guys, that means no one is allowed to share any experiences relating to MG Reptiles, good or bad.

    Matt, are you high?

You can't tell people that they can't give feedback on your business in public forum. So long as it is factual in nature and mature in delivery, there is nothing wrong in doing so.

By the way, it's spelled "dEsist."

    Matt,

I have read and participated in the thread on fauna to some extent. I saw no one who said they could not order from you based on anything but instances of lousy customer service and shipping times. I will admit that I have told people to spend their money elsewhere because of a bad experience I had with you and pointed them in the direction of multiple other vendors whom I have dealt with and had nothing but good things to say. I do not want to see others deal with your customer service skills or lack thereof and have problems arise because of your lies. Deal with your communication and shipping problems then come back and try to make a better name for yourself.

I have not ordered from MG and do not plan to......I believe this is a free country to order anywhere and it is our responsibility to be aware from where we order from. The discussion here appeared to be nothing but personal experiences and I for one welcome the continued discussion on the customer service of any and all companies that I may deal with. This is in part why I choose to change my opinion and because of the overwelming support for reptile basics I placed an order again today. I believe to threaten people with litigation for discussing actual events is irresponsible and only one more reason I will not order from MG Reptiles.

Especially in light of his comments of the last couple of days in which he clearly states that his business is better than ever.

    Jamie,

I would not worry, after all slander and libel can easily be defended with the truth. I'm sure you knew that already, but I just want to show support for you and your statements; which from first-hand experience I know to be true myself. If in the future you need anything in regards to this situation let me know, you have my support.

Thanks Rich! I wasn't the least bit concerned. :D I never said anything untrue and according to Matt, his business hasn't been hurt a bit. Once more he speaks up when he should stay silent.

Matt continues to claim that all his customer service problems are in the past. Not just counting the recent threads here and on Fauna, which for the life of me I can't figure why they don't count as current issues, here are Matt's recent Ebay feedback ratings:

Yes, its everybody else that is the problem.

I understand everyone wanting to get their experiences out there but I think we have beat this dead horse to death.
I think everyone has enough info to make a informed choice.
Anymore is just over the top IMO
