Besides Snakes...what's your favorite Herp?

Uhm...there are herps other than snakes? I never knew! :rolleye2:

I like them all but I can't say that I have a favorite other than snakes...though I love to see my friends' collections.

yeah tuataras are such cool herps (living fossils), a real shame there close to extinction :( , very strange creatures that look just like lizards but are not lizards at all , they also have a "third eye" under the skin that i think is maybe used for thermoregulation purposes

Frogs! I love them.. toads also.

I could never choose an absolute favorite, besides snakes, but I guess the closest thing would be larger lizards as I adore iguanas (BTW Rhino Iggys are the greatest! We had one at the old zoo and he was the sweetest guy) and my dream reptile now is a Blue Tongue Skink.

i love dwarf monitors. my favorite is probably varanus eremius or varanus brevicauda. i keep a varanus acanthurus but would love to keep a smaller more rare species once i get the money. i would love to have a pair or trio of varanus gilleni or varanus caudolineatus.

my chameleon... hands down!!!

I have never spent any time with anything but snakes. I do think Leos are cute as can be, though. However, I picked frogs since I have some in my fish tank!

I voted that I love them all because I don't have just one specific favorite.
