Re: Most intelligent snake...
I'd say Green Rat Snakes and Bloods. GRSs just because they seem smart to me (they're so curious!) and Bloods since they seem to know their owners (a guy in my highschool once had a Blood that let it's owner, him, and some other folks handle it but nipped at anyone else).

I personally think retics are the smartest.
We have 1 each of Kenyan Sand Boa, Ball Python, Jungle Carpet Python, Rosy Boa, and temporary visitor Black Rat Snake. I was going to say that the Ball Python was dumb but sweet - but was afraid to dis her. So I'm glad you said it first. I know 1 is not a good sample in any way, shape or form, but to me, she's like a dumb black lab - sweet, lovin', and not a lot upstairs.

Thanks. Somehow I was under the impression they could inter-breed, like donkeys and horses...?
Re: Most intelligent snake...
I would say a taipan and a brown snake. No one picks them up... and they know why...

Re: Most intelligent snake...
I would say the king cobra,...or almost any cobra, based on everything Ive heard or read.
