OT here I would have to agree both with stangs and Mendel. Mendel started a threat for education (sp?) and wanted to here feedback from the readers. Stangs voiced his by stating that (in a nut shell) that he believes in the bible and not what was posted.

What I dont agree with on both parties:
Mendel was quick to neg rep stangs for his input when a simpel PM or public comment could have been made.

Stangs did wright his reply in a manner that people could have taken in wronk, and did look like a debate was being staged.

Fix for both IMO would be this, Dont be quick to neg rep people and when giving a statement like the one stangs wrote, it can be a good idea to add *IMO* to the end to show that this is what you fell and you not tring to start something in the thread.

for me after all that i pulled I would have to cure cancer and bring peace to to the middle east to get back my rep points. but this is getting to off topic. sooor for hijacking the thread.

Great read. that was a question I had in the back of my mind for a while that was finaly answered. Great post Mendel :)

Legless lizards are awesome. I actually considered keeping a few just to trip people up...."ewww, I hate snakes"...."This is not a snake, just a lizard without legs".......LOL....definately an interesting conversation piece in a collection ;)

LOL...I believe in both creation and evolution also. I believe in creation by means of evolution. It never really explains the method of 'creation' anywhere....so maybe evolution was/is a tool of god to 'get er' done' ;) Some things can be taken literally...however, I have always been one to look for a deeper meaning and ask questions. Read a bunch of books and make your own conclusions about existance.....by far the greatest route and most satisfying ;)

Sorry to continue the 'hijack' Mendel. This is a great thread that could have so many 'branch' conversations...it is just hard to resist ;)

That's my belief exactly, and here I thought I was unusual. Now back to your regularly scheduled thread. ;)

Ok, just a quick tip. ;)

Thanks for bringing this up. I will take what she says with a grain of salt in the future (but I usually do anyway :))

I verified this quote with other sources of information.

She is right about legless lizards......just because she's wrong or misinformed about some things...doesnt mean she's wrong about everything.

As have been uncovered by this thread, Legless lizard do not have 3 other key morophological features that snakes do have.

Just for the record, Mendel, I was not saying that specific info was wrong, just that you might want to be careful when posting her stuff. ;)

You might have to ask that question to a lot of people.......maybe this is not true here in the states, but a majority of Christians world-wide accept evolution.
