i should be a member... what an idiot i am (yup you heard it here!) i was playing with the babies ratties and then i noticed my corn had pooped... so i take off the lid and pick him up... cleaning his encl. and then it dawns on me... i'm COVERED in rat smell... thank goodness he eats mice!

i walked around the house kicking myself for about 20 minutes.

I don't own a redtail boa (maybe this should be moved to general herp?), this is from my female Irian Jaya Carpet.

She got fed last out of everybody when this happened. Unforunately, I'd miscounted and had to thaw her rat out last....and then she zoomed in on my left hand instead of the rat. I've been bitten several times at this point (scared babies, for the most part) and what made this bite the worst is that she grabbed the skin on the side of my index finger, instead of my finger.
