When I was buying a mouse the other day, the guy at the pet store told me eventually I'd have to feed my bp chickens and went on to describe how you can hear the bones crunching when the snake constricts it.

(While holding a coastal carpet in a pet store)

    "Isn't it posionous?"
    "No"
    "That's a copperhead, isn't it?"
"No. It's a carpet python, it's not posionous.".

    (conversation with a coworker)
"What kind of snakes do you have?"
    "Ball pythons"
"Pythons?! They get huge don't get they?"
"No no, ball pythons stay small, and the ones I have are babies."

No such thing as a poisonous snake. You can eat and touch the skin, see no poison. Venomous snake is the better word:D Now.. something poisoness to eat would be those poisonous toads in Australia that are non-native species that will kill animals so fast once you notice the symptons.. you are usually too late.

Not frogs, but toads...cane toads to be exact.

    Thanks for correcting me:)

I forgot if it was the cane toad or some other amphibian (frog or toad) but knew it was poisonous.

This is my mother speaking to me.

    "Those things can eat Raigen"

Raigen is my 23 month old 22 pound toddler. Well being that my 4 foot one wont eat all right now I find that hard to believe. :D

I tried to explain to her that there balls, but nothing gets threw to her. I'm actually hoping they'll attempt to eat her.

My uncle came over to see my "collection" today. I was showing him my largest female (2kg), and he said "That one looks like a python!"

"Umm, Unk, they are ALL pythons!"

My partner has snake-phobia - he'll flinch away from me if I'm holding Noodle the little 3ft hognose - but will happily reach out his hand to pet the monitor
