How many bad bites so far?

Tokays got a nasty bite. I'd say the worse bites I've taken were from an atb I owned. Meanest mofo ever, long long long teeth. I got tagged by my redtail, and the lil atb was worse. Hit my on the nose once, bled forever.

been bitten many a time.... I agree with Godfather. ATB's pack a mean bite. I got bit by a wild caught ATB at a reptile expo, I wanted to hold it it see exactly how bad its temperment was. It lunged twice at my wifes face then turned around and latched on to my arm. It was not a short bite either. haha


My wife got bit by my columbian on the nose... she was looking close at him and I guess he did not like it much... *wham*! good thing he was fairly young at the time.

I get bit a lot from the snakes at work. Most if not all are just defence tags and what I call love taps. ;)

The worst bite I've even gotten was from my friends Tegu who got loose in her back yard and gave us a run for our money. When we caught him he gave us both a good old bite. Now that did hurt and man did it look nasty the next day.

oops i forgot to read the post b4 voting. i put too many to count, but never had a bad bite from a boa ever. the bad bites i got were from burms and retics.

its not too bad but i thought i would get some blood on the topic :P

I've never had a bite from anything but a feeding response, but mine has a really strong feeding response, so it's tough. Once it bit, held, and wrapped its entire body around my finger when I was trying to pluck a refused, too-cold mouse from behind it. Always feed warm. :)

I like to feed wearing latex gloves. Sounds wierd, I know, but being an emt it sounded good to me. Plus the scent of your prey item never gets on you.
