My apologies if that's how it appears. I've not had a good day today and am particularly sensitive right now, and I guess it's "melting" into the boards. So, please accept my apologies and disregard my previous posts. I'll wait until the impending "meltdown" has passed (my personal meltdown - not board related) before I post again.

LOL no worries. I'm nearly in the same boat - and here it's only Wednesday.

I think a lot of this is similar to the "cage decor" decision - it all comes down to what level of effort you are willing to expend in maintenance. One may be easier than the other but it doesnt make one "right" and the other "wrong". They are not mutually exclusive options. After having kept so many rats in (12x10gal, 3x30gal, 1x55gal) tanks and the level of care/maintenance they require it might not seem like such a monumental effort to me at this point if i went back to housing snakes in them.

In terms of display and visial appeal you cant beat transparency - I have seen some folks post gorgeous setups and decor. In terms of simplicity and ease of maintenance bins and newsprint are just easier. I don't think it needs to be such a divisive or contentious issue - but I realize we love to debate things (an thats good).
