Shipping reptiles is fairly simple and NOT cruel. It is either done overnight to your door with FedEx, or with an airline where you pick up the animal at the airport.

Snakes are packed in a deli cup or snake bag, then put into an insulated shipping box with padding and a heat pack which can keep the box warm for 40 hours.

His site says UPS or Fed-Ex. I know USPS is illegal. I think UPS is legal though.

No, UPS is not. Lizards and turtles are fine, but no snakes whatsoever.

Nice little boa you got there (or will get) hes very cute. I almost bought one of his sisters but i decided to go with a redtail that was a little lighter in color, clays boas look very dark to me.And since they get darker as they get older i decided to pass on those guys. I guess i was pretty lucky i bought my baby girl in time to have her shipped to me before it got too cold. :)

Good luck with your little guy :)

How long will he be at 1 yr old and how much will he weigh?

I know you can't know specifically, but does anyone have a ball park figure?

That is a nice boa especially for the price lol from the info ive gatherd common boas (BCI) cost around $100 and the true colombian red tails (BCC) usually around $200

4x2x2 is ok for a male BCI for a good period of its life but BCC require larger

dunno about BCC but if fed properly most BCI are 4feet at 1 year of age

(mines 27" at 4 1/2 months old growing 2-3" a month when he sheds
