    I have no intentions of ever owning a hook. If I can’t “train” it, I will suffer the occasional bite. My boa has never even looked like she mite strike and eats fine. I let her know if prey is coming or not and treat her the same as my pythons. Let her know I am there and just pick her up. When I see any snake in a striking position when going to get them out, I will try to distract and pick up. If they follow both of my hands, I just pick another to hang out with and come back to the crabapple one later.
