    Exactly. If you were actually sold what you were told you were getting -- a healthy, 7 month old animal -- even a month of missed feedings wouldn't have been a concern. It would have been eating larger meals. Assist feeding wouldn't have even been an option to consider. It wouldn't have had that body condition, if it was being fed and hydrated like it should've been; I've not seen a BP go south that quickly, even in a novice's care with mistakes being made.

    But guilt -- via going to the person running the con and posting in places people will check before conducting business -- is one of the best ways to get a refund. Shame works.

    I'm very sorry for your loss. I certainly hope you get a refund from the breeder. You absolutely should not have had to assist feed a healthy seven month old. A healthy ball python could have skipped weeks of feeding without issue. It seems like the breeder knowingly sold you a snake in poor condition that was never feeding properly (pinkies??). You did your best, but the breeder did wrong by both you and the snake.
