Kitty is still putting away the food growing well. My current feeding schedual is one small rat once a week for 3 weeks and fast them on the 4th week.
In other exciting news I broke down and acquired a snake rack and a herpstat. While my glass tanks are being made to work they are a bit of a pain. I live in a desert, the air is on all the time. Humidity is a constant challenge. And with the screentops, the clamps, and the lamps I almost feel like I have to break in to the cages to maintain them. So I'm trying something different.
The snakes will be moving into the tubs with all their current cage furnature. Thier hides, their sticks, and I still plan to use substrate. I'm not a huge fan of the paper and a water dish set up. I'm currently calibrating the temps, the thermometer wires will not be everywhere when I'm done.
My ultimate dream would be some nice display cages but I'm not there yet.
