BTW, the purity of any L. Triangulum that can't be traced to WC founders could be called in to question. crossing was rampant in the bad old days, partly out of ignorance that these were distinct sub-species. As I said, the Pueblan x Nelson albinos have been around for quite awhile and if the original crosses were repeatedly crossed to "pure" Pueblans, the Nelson's influence could be largely negated in recent generations. with the obvious exception of the albino mutation. The good news is that the recognition of distinct ssp. is not a new occurrence and countless breeders have resisted the urge to cross them for a few decades now. I think most are what they are said to be. but in the case of Albino Pueblans where the Nelson's factor is not acknowledged, virtually none are what they are said to be.

Hey Lady, beautiful kingsnakes. Be cautious in purchasing from Reptiles by Mack! Although they have reasonable prices they are being investigated by PETA for various inhumane practices on their animals. Just be sure to inspect your shipped animals carefully and be prepared to do a 90 day quarantine at the least. Don't keep the new additions near your established collection for the duration of the quarantine. Good luck!

EDIT BY STAFF: This video is the product of PETA...an "animal rights" propaganda machine with no other purpose than to see ALL pet ownership made illegal, starting with reptiles and other exotics as the easiest targets. We do NOT support, condone, or even believe anything PETA says.

Due to the content of the video posted in the link this post is moved to the QT.
