accidentally stick in your Python into hot of water

This horse is dead and beat, I think. Hopefully OP learned his lesson though, whatever it is.

For anyone who is concerned Lokey is doing much better. He's been up moving all around getting back to his nornal self

I'm glad he is okay. Hope a lesson was learned. There is no need to regularly bathe your snakes and if you do, the water should not feel warm to you at all. If it feels warm to you, it's probably too warm for your snake. I only put my snakes in water when they have made a huge mess of themselves (sadly, this is kind of often) and only just long enough to clean them off and put them back in their tub. I always test the water first with my hand.

If your snake Poocasso's himself it's less stressful on him if you use unscented baby wipes to clean him up. I've found the cheap generic ones work better since they are thicker. Any soap residue can then be wiped away with a damp paper towel.

He doing really good, he opened his mouth for the first time since the accident.he up moving around.he just has shedding left on his head to get off but his still isn't flicking his tongue,I think it just got burned but over time I believe he will start flicking it again.thanks to everyone who has posted positive comments and advice plus asking about lokey.will keep yall up to date on his recovery.

You got pictures of the little dude?

Glad he's doing better. Keep us updated. Have you taken him to the vet for a check up?
