how does one go about posting pictures on the forums?
i have the pics on my computer ready to go, but i can't figure out the rest...

there's plenty of ways to do it. First, you can create a gallery on this web site, and post the links to those images

What i did with the pics up above was upload them to a web site i created. you can create free web site's at http://www.geocities.com. Then, upload pictures, using the easy uploader, and post the links to the pictures inside [ img]*your link here*[/img ] brackets.

Mine looks like this here:
