And rabbit week seems quite productive as well. I'm still on medium rats so I have a ways to go.
Great pics, thank you!
Well, there are a bunch of captive snakes over in the visitor's center side of the building - I think one of the local Park District employees over there is a de-facto rescue. I told him to let me know if he needs help with their burm, but he hasn't taken me up on it. [emoji53]
The rabbit kits top out at 200 grams, so a snake on medium rats can easily handle one. They've actually got less in the way of hips than a rat. Last night my big Bredli, who gets medium rats on rat weeks, took her rabbit kit and a small rat (intended for one of the BPs, but she's blue and not one to eat in that state).

Captive snakes in the visitor's center? Great work site!
Wow, thanks for letting me know the specifics of the rabbit kit. If I remember correctly the medium rat from last week was around 147 grams so I guess I am not as far off as I thought.

I did not take Bruce out last night. I tried, he kept grabbing on to his jungle gym or zipping off to the far corners of his enclosure. [emoji849]

Last night I felt something uncomfortable on my little finger, at first I thought I'd knocked one of the holes/slices back open. Looked again, and it turned out to be one of Bruce's teeth - not infected, it had just taken from Tuesday until Sunday to work out. My son grabbed it with his fine tweezers (usually used for working on miniatures) and it came right out.

I had Bruce out for some playtime on the front porch yesterday. I over-estimated his size previously, measuring the railing he so conveniently stretched out on, he's right about 5'.
