Burmese python rescue help.

Ahh...the Tan! Bob Bennett's bunny (Raising Rabbits the Modern Way *or something like that*). He sure seemed to like them, I've never seen one in person.

My first rabbits were black NZ's. Later, a lady sold me her entire rabbitry of ageing (and matted!) English Angoras. Currently keeping three breeding pairs of Champagne D'Argent. LOVE the Champagnes. Big, beautiful, easy-going bunnies. I'll also occasionally take in someone's unwanted pet as well.

Everybody you're all the best help a person could ask for. It seems as if i have all the information i need as of now. Thanks for all the help. Ill update after the shed, and first feed. Once again everybody thanks so much :]

Enjoy him! Albino burms are king of the snake world IMO.

Well he shed about a week ago, offered him a live rabbit and a frozen/thaw one. Didn't care to even bite one of them basically stayed defensive. His new enclosure was just payed for so she is going to start creating it... About the feeding, what could be his issue? I understand its a new place but jeez.

Do you know what he was being fed before? Has he ever been offered a rabbit or only rats? My largest boa grudgingly ate rabbits for a while, then stopped eating for three months until I offered her a jumbo rat a few minutes after she turned her nose up at the rabbit. She hit the rat like a freight train.

When will we get a pic of this fantastic animal?! And you sound like you are treating him ten times better then the original people. Kiddos to you!

He was previously fed normal rats, and never offered a rabbit. (never a jumbo, the previous owner couldn't afford them). So perhaps i will try to put a jumbo rat in-front of him.:):):)

Just looked at your pics and what a beautiful snake. You did a great thing for this animal and hopefully all goes well for you and your Burm. Also you have come to the best place for help - I can't imagine what kind of mess I would have it I hadn't dropped in here and read everything in sight (still do, everyday,most days multiple times).
