    Looks great. She's just a little lighter than everyone else's Pied (I think that's the het Hypo), so the little extra yellow coming through looks really good. Nice work.

    Great artwork and pics! Are you using watercolor and ink on these? I have such a hard time working with straight watercolor... I do use watercolor crayons and pencils from time to time though.

    I'm glad you like it!! :) Pieds are definitely a lot of fun, & the patterning on yours is just awesome! I won't darken her up if that looks about right (kind of over-exaggerated seems to by my style anyways to bring out their unique qualities) lol!

    Thank you very much!! This one was a bit different, the others were just watercolour but I ran out of a colour that I needed so I tried mixing acrylics with water for this one and it gave me much more control (then inked over top). Have to be quick doing it this way because the wet acrylic won't move around on the paper after it's down like watercolour so it's a bit more of a challenge, but I like the affect! Kind of the best of both worlds for me! i've been thinking about trying out some crayons to help with highlighting and stuff like that too :)
