Ball Python Shipment arrived...PLEASE HELP

Well, after a week and a half I was finally able to reach Brian. They are out of Mystic females so the breeding project I had is down the drain, so I had to settle for something different/cheaper. I'm not in any way pleased with BHB for my first experience with them. I can promise I'd never do business with them in the future. Even if my case is one isolated experience it's still crappy on my end, had they gotten back to me the next day or even 2 days later I probably wouldn't have even made an issue out of it, but to go a week and a half with NO contact is just ridiculous. But I'm glad it's over...hopefully

That really sucks your first online purchase turned out like this. Hopefully just a one time experience for you.

If they don't have what you want, they should be refunding you + shipping so you can go elsewhere to get what you want.

Is the original snake okay? I hope so :(

Sorry you're having this experience. Like you said, it's probably an anomaly, but still real crappy to have to deal with.

I'm curious as to how the snake is doing? Did she survive? I also agree that if they can't give you what you exactly what you want, then they should refund your money!

She very much alive still, but she has a severe (and I mean SEVERE) head wobble. She also only uses the very top of her tail and mid body to head, the lower 3/4 is totally dead it seems. I'm hoping she will eat tomorrow. If so I'll be very happy! She's very underweight so I'll have to fatten her up as well. Which was a whole different reason I was upset with BHB

Why hasn't the snake been put down now that BHB knows? Or are you sending her Back to him?
You should get a full refund not something you don't want!

Wow! Now that is something else! Kudos to you, my friend.

Let this be a lesson to people who insist that the large names in this hobby do no wrong and that they are on a level higher than the rest of us poor slobs.

Brian is a good guy, and has done a lot for this hobby, but he controls a large operation with several employees - all of which are human and all of which make mistakes.

However, this mistake encompasses many levels - shipping in cold temperatures, shipping an animal with obvious neuro issues, not providing prompt customer service and then - as far as I'm concerned - not taking care of the customer. Nice guy or not, this one sucks on ALL levels and it sucks hard.

So at this time, no one should be making excuses. If you are reading this thread and feel that the OP got a raw deal plus a run around to boot find some way to let BHB know. It's not too late to have Brian make this better.
